Vindhya Vasini Degree College, Paikmal, Dist- Bargarh, today, October 27, 2025, launched the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’, which will run until November 2, 2025.

Vigilance Awareness Week

Our college is proud to observe Vigilance Awareness Week, a significant nationwide campaign guided by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). This week is a powerful reminder of our collective duty to uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability as the cornerstones of a progressive, corruption-free India.

The theme for this year is: “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” This theme powerfully underscores that vigilance is not merely a government function but a civic duty incumbent upon every single citizen.

During a special launch event, our students and staff joined the nation in taking a solemn pledge to uphold sincerity, reject corruption, and promote good governance in all walks of life. Esteemed speakers highlighted how vigilance is crucial not only for the nation’s progress but for building a society based on trust and fairness.

Our Week of Action

To ensure that ‘vigilance’ becomes an integral part of our college culture, we are organizing a series of engaging activities throughout the week:

  • Debate & Elocution competitions on “The Role of Youth in Building a Transparent India.”
  • Poster-Making Contest to creatively express ideas on integrity and anti-corruption.
  • Guest Lectures by eminent personalities and anti-corruption experts.
  • Essay Writing competitions to foster deep thought on ethical governance.

We urge everyone to participate actively, engage in these important conversations, and contribute to making our nation and our campus corruption-free. Let us be the responsible citizens our country needs.
